Junior Butcher cum Customer Service (Retail)

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat products (beef, lamb, pork, poultry) according to company standards
• Maintain product display and ensure freshness of meat and deli items
• Handle customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and process sales transactions
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock to maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, equipment, and cold storage
• Support overall store operations as required
• Job Requirements
• Minimum 1-2 years of butchery experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts and handling techniques
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented attitude
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a chilled environment
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and retail hours on a rotational basis
