Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and existing features
• Perform manual, exploratory, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across web applications and APIs
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases
• Partner with engineers to improve test coverage and quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Assist in building, maintaining, and enhancing automated test suites
• Analyze application performance, usability, and reliability issues
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release processes
• Advocate for quality assurance best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and testing best practices
• Experience testing web applications and APIs
• Experience creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases
• Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

As a QA Engineer, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to validate new features, identify defects before they reach customers, and help drive a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our platform delivers an exceptional experience for customers around the world. This role is hybrid, with three days per week based in our Taipei office.
