Your Role The Sales Account Manager plays a key role in managing and growing existing client accounts while supporting project-based sales activities. This position focuses on strengthening long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving repeat business through effective account management and coordination with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Account Management & Client Engagement
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, particularly Interior Designers and Contractors.
- Understand client requirements and manage expectations with appropriate product solutions and recommendations.
- Introduce new products and customization of solutions.
- Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within assigned accounts.
- Manage Tenders and Projects with the assistance of a Quantity Surveyor and Project Team
- Attend site meetings and maintain regular communication with clients throughout project life cycles.
- Monitor account performances and identify growth opportunities.
- Generate leads within existing accounts and through client referrals.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to maintain market presence.
Requirements
- Experience with account management, client servicing, or project-based sales, within the Building, Architectural and Interior Design industry.
- Experience working with Tenders with contractors is preferred.
- Familiarity with building or architectural materials; experience in specifying materials to consultants is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with ability to manage and grow customers / stakeholders relationship.
- Organised, Detailed, Competitive and Passionate about Achievement.
- Good communicaiton, presentation and negotiation skills.
- 5 days work week.
