• Preference will be given to graduate students in the PhD program at the Institute of Islamic Studies.
• Applicants must be in good standing in their academic program.
• Demonstrable knowledge in written Arabic is required.
• Additional testing may be requested.

• The successful applicants will grade all submitted assignments before the next class meeting and submit the grades online using McGill systems.

• Demonstrable intermediate knowledge in written Arabic is required.
• English; near-native proficiency in Arabic.

• ISLA 423/623 D1 (001) - Higher-Intermediate Arabic
• Demonstrable advanced knowledge in written Arabic is required.
• English; native or near-native proficiency in Arabic.

• Total Hours of Work per Term: 150 hours
