We are currently seeking to add an Environmental Technician to be based in Lexington, Oregon. This role is a long-term field-based position, with a projected work schedule ranging from four 10-hour days to six 10-hour days per week and opportunity for overtime. Hourly rate: $27 to $30 The role is field-intensive to support a solar development project located in rural Lexington, Oregon. Key functions will include regular inspections of stormwater erosion controls to ensure compliance with permit requirements. Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Technician 1: This position is primarily responsible for stormwater inspection and sampling, including the following: Training will be provided for stormwater inspection and sampling procedures. Perform stormwater inspections to verify permit compliance Complete daily field documentation (forms, logs, photos) Communicate promptly any deficiencies in stormwater erosion controls to project management team. Support data review and prepare brief summaries/reports of inspection and sampling results
