Role: Sr. Product Manager (AI heavy) Location: Rockville, MD or Tysons, VA (3 days onsite in a week) Space: AI-heavy. Supporting a business case in Finance. Three components: - 75% on AI readiness - Involve heavy discovery around AI value and involvement around entire lifecycle. This person will drive discovery to sift through who benefits from AI and how, etc. They will collaborate with business partners to understand current state/pain points and how AI can help. Then, you will partner with engineers to get it built and navigate governance around AI. - 25% on - Foundational data : getting some data sets accessible / ready for AI solutions. - Strategy/Risk Dashboard for leadership ßalso involves discovery Must have's for the product manager: - Knows AI very well. Will do discovery and design around AI - Creative and forward thinking (thinks about what's possible, pushes the bounds of what can happen with AI) - Very organized JD: The Senior/Lead Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution of one or more products throughout its lifecycle, including all aspects of the PDLC: Backlog, Discovery, Design, Requirements, Engineering, and Production They will partner with Technology and Business stakeholders to define product vision, develop roadmaps, and prioritizing development initiatives. Working closely with Engineering, Business, and cross-support functions, they will ensure objectives and commitments are met. - Work with Developers and UX Designers to deliver a compelling product that solves the critical business problems and delights end-users. - Guide and support the project team during development to ensure that business goals are achieved. - Drive continual product improvements based on ongoing user research and usability/sentiment studies. - Prioritize a product backlog based upon business impact and effort; help make resource tradeoff decisions - Develop product vision and roadmaps, and assist in budgeting and the preparation of business cases.
