About the role
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our growing corporate team in Athens. The successful candidate will be involved in complex transactions and play a key role in client relationship management, legal strategy, and deal execution. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a broad range of corporate/M&A transactions involving national and multinational corporates, private equity funds, and institutional investors.
- Provide expert legal advice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and related matters, particularly within the real estate and hospitality sectors.
- Oversee legal due diligence processes and risk assessments for corporate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documentation, including share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, and corporate governance materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues across our international offices and manage cross-border legal teams and projects.
- Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and transactional structuring issues.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and contribute to business development efforts within the practice.
- Key Skills and Experience
- Greek law qualified (qualification in England & Wales would be an asset).
- Between 4-8 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, with a strong focus on M&A.
- Proven sector experience in real estate and hospitality transactions is essential.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Fluent in both written and spoken Greek and English.
