Podcast Clip Editor

Responsibilities

• Watch or listen to podcast episodes and identify 5-10 attention-grabbing moments for short-form video clips
• Curate, refine, and quality-check AI-generated clip suggestions in Flowgen or any AI tool
• Render video clips on-brand in three different formats, ensuring brand consistency (colors, fonts, avatars, waveform)
• Write customised, platform-appropriate post copy and captions for each channel
• Manage and queue daily distribution of clips so each episode drives a week of multi-platform content
• Own process documentation, propose clip/caption edits for approval, and uphold final sign-offs per the set workflow

Requirements

• Ability to quickly spot powerful podcast moments that engage viewers without prior context
• Confidently override weak AI suggestions
• 1-4 years of experience in this field (part time experience is fine, as long as it's multi-year)
• Interest in expanding your role to our social and video strategy
• Caption Craft
• Write engaging, platform-specific captions (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook) without resorting to clickbait
• Ensure every caption matches tone, uses appropriate hooks, and earns each hashtag
• Brand Discipline
• Apply consistent visual branding to every clip
• Proactive attention to detail and correcting any inconsistencies
• Ownership
• Independently manage episode-to-content workflow without hand-holding
• Clearly propose edits and changes, follow fixed approval sequences, and ensure nothing ships without a final check
• Experience with Flowgen or comparable short-form video tools
• Background in podcast production or social media video
• Familiarity with men's dating, relationship, or lifestyle topics
• Comfortable with async work and meeting weekly deadlines

• Propose clip candidates with timestamps and rationale; await approval
• Write and submit captions for approved clips; await approval
• Render, quality-check, and deliver final content
• Schedule and distribute

Additional Information

Role Overview We are seeking a Podcast Clip Producer to fully own the social clip pipeline. This is an end-to-end role - from identifying the most compelling moments in each episode, through curating and quality-checking AI-generated clip suggestions in Flowgen, to rendering branded clips in three formats, writing platform-specific copy, and scheduling a week-long "drip-feed" of content from every episode. And while we are starting with just this podcast, you can also work on the social and video strategy for our B2B Enterprise apps and our B2C early-hire recruitment apps. Also, we are considering launching additional podcasts.
