About the role

You will serve as a IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/CUSTSPT) in the Commanding Officer of FLTREADCEN EAST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical issues spanning hardware, operating systems, applications, and network connectivity within a DoD enterprise environment to ensure system availability and functionality. 2.) Planning, implementing, and optimizing systems, upgrades, and device provisioning. This includes the ability to develop, evaluate, and improve technical processes, security protocols, and network integration strategies (e.g., IT/OT network segmentation) to enhance operational effectiveness. 3.) Interpreting, adapting, and applying traditional IT guidelines, security compliance directives, and reference materials to address unconventional or highly specialized administrative constraints (such as unique OT environments or DOD network policies) with a high degree of independence and minimal supervision.
