Research Assistant 1

Responsibilities

• Providing support to the recruitment team (calling participants and scheduling their visits) In charge of booking the scanner (booking time, coordinating overtime scans, cancellation, etc.).
• Assist trainees and lab members with preparing experimental materials including computerized tasks and stimulus sets, for example by downloading files or code from web sites.
• Accompanying participants during their scan visits to the MEG and MRI units.
• Administering cognitive tests and entering the data in our database.
• Ensuring complete data transition from the scanner to the database.
• Viewing the data and reporting gross artifacts.
• Acquiring MEG.
• Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 3 on a scale of 0-4.
