The responsibilities of this role are: Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet output, quality, and delivery targets Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads and Senior Operators; foster a performance-driven and safety-first culture across 70 production staff Monitor production KPIs (yield, throughput, downtime, OEE) and drive corrective actions where gaps exist Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical issues, process deviations, and non-conformances on the floor Drive and sustain Lean/5S/Six Sigma initiatives; identify waste and implement process improvements Enforce compliance with MOM Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act requirements and company SOPs Coordinate with Planning, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure materials availability and equipment uptime Maintain accurate production records and report performance to the Production Manager Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory) The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience: Diploma in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) Minimum 8 years of production or manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity Background in connector assembly, PCB assembly, electromechanical components, or a closely related precision manufacturing environment Experience in a high-mix, precision manufacturing environment Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies; certification is an advantage Proven ability to manage a sizable, multi-tiered production team Strong communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Planning
