- What you bring :
- At least 2 years' experience in a s ales and s ervice environment, including 6 months of general insurance experience , including travel and automobile insurance
- Level 1 Insurance license , with a commitment to secure your Level 2 Insurance license within your first 12 months of employment . BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.
- Completion of Autoplan Essentials or a commitment to complete within your first 3 months . BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.
- Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.
- Comfortable using technology , including working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Bonus qualifications ! E xperience selling home insurance, knowledge of ICBC systems, and a bility to speak other languages aside from English.
- During a typical day, you will:
- Work with team members to recommend BCAA insurance products and services to current and new c ustomers to meet their needs . You'll help them secure and/or renew their policies by reviewing current coverage and making recommendations in person and over the phone .
- Collaborate with BCAA Support Teams and Underwriting to assess and recommend the right coverage for our customers .
- Achieve sales and productivity goals while upholding BCAA and AAA/CAA Member experience goals and u nderwriting guidelines .
- M anage customer accounts and documentation, from processing payments to issuing new, renewal , endorsements and cancellations for Insurance policies, BCAA Memberships, and additional products and services .
