Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Valid Cédula Profesional in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within building systems or MEP environments
• Proficiency in Revit required; experience with mechanical system modeling is a plus
• Ability to speak, understand, and write in English is required
• Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles
• Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
• Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous

You will assist with engineering design and analysis while supporting overall project delivery and client requirements. Under limited supervision, you will be responsible for preparing calculations, drawings, and specifications while continuing to develop your technical expertise. You may also lead and coordinate portions of planning, organization, and integration activities within your area of responsibility. This is a full-time, long-term position.
