GS-11: $85,447 to $111,087 Per Year GS-12: $102,415 to $133,142.00 Per Year To qualify for a GS-12, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience independently identifying the need for improvements to Master Clock and time transfer electronic systems, subsystems, components, connections, and their associated electrical power systems. Experience physically installing electronic circuits and cables, moving equipment and clocks, general maintenance, and similar work. Experience writing formal reports and publications on developed procedures. Experience performing routine installations and calibrations of GNSS systems. Experience training other electronic technicians in standard and nonstandard techniques developed by incumbent. Experience recognizing requirements, developing new electronic techniques for monitoring performance, adapting available analytical tools for the problem at hand. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience using a variety of guidelines, manuals, and standard reference materials that are not completely applicable to the work or have gaps in specificity requiring the incumbent to use judgment and initiative to interpret and adapt them to specific cases and problems. Experience utilizing a variety of processes to complete assignments requiring independent judgment and skill to interpret and analyze considerable amounts of data, plan work, and refine methods and techniques. Experience applying a broad number of established methods, procedures, and techniques that affect the operation of systems and equipment and the timeliness and economy of operations, service, and equipment.
