Product owner with US GAAP And Life Insurance Experience

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for US GAAP financial reporting systems aligned with LDTI requirements.
• Translate actuarial models and accounting requirements (ASC 944) into clear user stories and technical deliverables.
• Ensure accurate reporting of insurance liabilities, DAC, and premium revenue.
• Collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, IT, and Compliance teams to align product roadmap.
• Validate financial outputs to meet audit and regulatory standards.
• Support LDTI transformation initiatives and ongoing enhancements.
• Required Skills
• Strong expertise in US GAAP (ASC 944, LDTI - ASU 2018-12, CECL)
• Experience in Life Insurance / Annuities domain
• Agile Product Owner experience (Scrum / SAFe)
• Knowledge of policy administration systems & financial reporting platforms
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
