About the role

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and feasibility study on the customer vision specifications. Responsible to do vision application based on customer's samples and generate vision application report. Able to configure vision hardware (camera, lens, optics and lighting) to match/apply to the vision inspection needs. Liaise with supplier to source new/alternative equivalent replacement if the vision hardware/component is obsoleted. Able to configure vision hardware (combination of camera, lens, optics or lighting) with the focal length needed in CAD. Setup a vision lab with necessary equipment needed. Fine-tuning vision parameters to achieve the best inspection result. Be the key driver for continuous improvement plans for new and existing inspection capabilities. Coordinate with customer for any new enquiry with sale personnel if needed. Build and nurture a culture in engineering organization of harmony, quality, ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement and data-driven decision making. MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Computer Studies or its equivalent More than 3 years in vision application related experiences. Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrating a very good team work within the engineering department.
