Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform job tasks in a safe manner as instructed by supervisor. Actively participate in the site safety, quality, and 5-S teams. Knowledge of safe working practices such as lock out tag out, hot work and confined space.
• Have an understanding of troubleshooting and repairs to all plant equipment systems such as mechanical, rotating equipment, insulation, painting, liquid and solids handling equipment, conveyor systems. Participate in preventive and predictive work practices.
• Be willing to operate in a multi-craft environment including acceptance of additional duties. Desire and ability to work as part of a team is necessary. This includes a rotating on call work schedule for maintenance coverage for off hours, weekends, and Holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of maintenance experience
