About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Teaching Associate in Psychology to join the Department of Psychological Sciences and Health at the University of Strathclyde. The post is open-ended. You will make a significant contribution to the Department through teaching, scholarship, and citizenship. You will be joining an internationally recognised academic group with research expertise in cognition, health psychology, mental health, and behaviour change. We also have a taught portfolio of popular UG and PGT courses (BA Psychology, BSc Psychology & Counselling, MSc Clinical Health Psychology, MSc Psychology Research Methods, MSc Psychology Conversion with specialisms in Business and Health) and a degree in Speech and Language Therapy with a BSc Honours and MRes that create opportunities for joint supervision of PGR students in the field of language. A PhD in Psychology or a relevant area is essential. Applications are sought from Psychology of Language, and expertise in Language development, Communication disorders, Cognitive ageing and language, and Interdisciplinary teaching. Experience of teaching within a Higher Education context is required. The proposed start date will be before the end of September.
