Lead and develop a cross‑shift manufacturing team to consistently meet or exceed production, quality, and customer requirements. Drive daily operations by reinforcing company policies, safety standards, work instructions, and continuous improvement practices. Maximize equipment utilization, product yields, and on‑time delivery through effective planning and real‑time problem solving. Communicate clearly through pre‑shift meetings, coaching sessions, and one‑on‑one discussions to ensure alignment on goals and expectations. Coordinate production schedules with leadership and support teams to optimize workflow, reduce costs, and improve product reliability. Train, coach, evaluate, and document teammate performance while maintaining fair task assignments and promoting skill development. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to monitor safety, quality, adherence to standard work, and overall team engagement. Track shift performance metrics and develop short‑ and long‑term action plans to improve productivity, safety, and operational efficiency. Partner with engineering and maintenance to identify and resolve processing issues, ensuring smooth and reliable operations. Maintain accurate production, time, and cost records and prepare reports to support operational decision‑making. High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred, along with 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach performance, lead by example, and work effectively with diverse teams. Excellent communication, business writing, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities, including the skill to translate complex technical or business information for various audiences. Proficient in MS Office with general computer literacy; SAP experience and bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
