About the role

The College of Engineering and Science (COES) is seeking a professional and organized individual to support the Dean's Office. This position provides executive support to the Dean and Associate Dean by coordinating communications, schedules, meetings, and special projects while helping ensure the efficient operation of the office. RESPONSABILITIES: Provide executive operations support to the Dean and Associate Deans of the College of Engineering and Science (COES), ensuring efficient coordination of priorities, initiatives, and daily operations. Serve as a liaison among academic departments, administrative units, university stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate communication and collaboration. Manage emails, correspondence, and general inquiries for the Dean's Office in a professional and helpful manner. Handle confidential and sensitive information related to personnel matters, college operations, and strategic initiatives while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion. Coordinate complex calendars for the Dean and Associate Deans, including scheduling meetings, managing competing priorities, preparing materials for meetings, and arranging travel and special events. Prepare and edit reports, presentations, correspondence, and other materials in support of college leadership and operations. Support meetings and committees by preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items. Assist in making travel arrangements and processing other purchases as needed for Dean's Suite. Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned in support of the Dean's Office and COES. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Associate degree, vocational or technical school degree Minimum 3-5 years of experience required in area of expertise Learned knowledge and skills to support variety of routine tasks requiring some degree of di ffi culty.
