About the role

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL) in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of MY NAVY CAREER CENTER. This specialized experience must demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of a Human Resources Assistant (Military) and should include the following: 1) Benefits and Eligibility Determination: Experience applying laws, regulations, and policies to determine eligibility for military or federal benefits, such as those related to identification cards, medical care, or family support programs which includes reviewing and analyzing documents (e.g., marriage certificates, birth records, court orders) to verify dependency status and entitlement to benefits under programs like the Incapacitated Family Benefits Programs (INCAP) or Former Spouse Benefits Program (FSBP).
