Software Engineer

About the role

- Analyse process and program specifications andtranslate into program codes - Ensure conformance to programming guidelines andbest practices - Make changes to configurable items includinghardware, software, and documentation - Perform configuration management planning,identification, controls, and audits - Develop unit test packages, execute tests, anddocument results to ensure quality - Support integration testing, system testing, UAT,and implementation activities - Fix reported problems or bugs to ensure smoothexecution in production - Investigate errors and initiate amendments andtesting for correct and efficient system operation - Prepare and maintain up-to-date system documentation - Analyse functional requirements and translate intoapplication design using established methodologies - Ensure codes comply with security guidelines - Diploma or degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, Information Technology, or equivalent. - 1-4 years of experience in developing and deliveringapplication software. - Relevant system development and maintenanceexperience using Java-related technologies. - Experience with Jasper Reports, React, Spring Batchand Spring Boot is preferred. - Strong problem-solving skills with ability to thinkcreatively. - Proficient in written and spoken English -Willingness to travel as required Preferred Attributes. - Initiative and strong commitment to results andquality standards. - Team player with strong communication andinterpersonal skills. - Self-motivated with positive attitude and highenergy. - Customer-focused with strong service orientationProfessional and/or Technical Certifications. - Oracle Certified Professional (Java) Preferred. ADDITIONS: - Work with team lead to ensure design and codesconform to architecture and standards - Participate in requirements gathering and reviewfunctional specifications with Business Analysts - Participate in peer reviews to improve projectquality.
