Responsibilities
- Program, operate, and troubleshoot industrial robots and cobots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, UR, etc.)
- Develop and optimize robot motion sequences for manufacturing and automation applications
- Integrate ancillary equipment such as: Vision systems
- Force/torque sensors
- End-of-arm tooling (EOAT)
- Conveyors and material handling systems
- Interface robots with PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems
- Support system testing, validation, and troubleshooting in lab environments
- Contribute to documentation, including system layouts, work instructions, and technical reports
- Collaborate with external parties and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated automation systems
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 0-5 years of hands-on experience with industrial robotics or automation systems
- Experience programming or operating industrial robots or cobots
- Basic understanding of robotics concepts such as: Kinematics
- Coordinate systems
- Path planning
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience integrating sensors (vision, force, proximity) into robotic systems
- Experience working with PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Exposure to human-machine interfaces (HMIs) or user interface (UI/UX) development
- Programming experience in languages such as Python, C++, or similar
- Experience with simulation tools and CAD platforms
- Familiarity with safety standards for industrial robotics and collaborative systems
- Experience in manufacturing, automation, or R&D environments
- Experience in industrial or academia chemical handling

We are seeking a motivated Robotics Engineer with up to 5 years of experience to support the design, development, and deployment of industrial robotic systems.
