Job Description The Department of Art and Art History seeks to hire part-time or full-time Adjunct Metals and Fibers Instructor(s) with a special admin focus as a studio technician for the 2026-27 Academic Year. These positions are non-tenure track, and would be for a one-year appointment, renewable for up to three years. Full Consideration Date July 31, 2026 Brief Work Unit Description Founded in 1870, Colorado State University is among the nation's leading research universities and enrolls approximately 32,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Located an hour north of the Denver metro area, Fort Collins is a vibrant community of approximately 157,000 residents that offers the convenience of a small town with all the amenities of a large city. Fort Collins is situated on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains with views of 14,000 foot peaks, and offers access to numerous cultural, recreational, and outdoor opportunities. The Art & Art History Department curriculum supports majors in Studio Art (BA, BFA, and MFA), Art History (BA), and Art Education (BFA). Concentrations include: Art Education, Art History, Drawing, Electronic Art, Fibers, Graphic Design, Colorado State University has a strong and on-going commitment to equality and diversity among students, faculty and staff. Salary Range $48,000-$50,000 9-month salary (prorated for part-time work) Essential Job Duties Specific teaching workload and responsibilities will be determined based department need and on the expertise of the faculty member. Service responsibilities would include light committee work as well as studio management and technical support of Metals and Fibers studios.
