Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities Performs all duties under appropriate clinical supervision, as directed or authorized by clinic mental health leadership, conducting all assessments and sessions in accordance with provided training and completing all assigned training based on assignment, as scheduled. Conducts evaluations and assessments for children, adolescents and adults using an array of standardized psychological tests to assess for intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or as part of screening and intake requirements for eligibility and/or psychotherapy and psychiatric services. Conducts assessments in accordance with all testing requirements relating to data collection, administration, interpretation (if appropriately licensed) and scoring to ensure integrity of assessment results and writes comprehensive summaries that are in line with test results. Develops person-centered treatment plans based on assessments of individual needs for assigned caseload, identifying areas of focus and therapeutic goals in collaboration with persons supported and their families, as applicable. Conducts individual, family and group therapy sessions for children, adolescents and adults on an ongoing or as needed basis consistent with prescribed treatment plans. Evaluates progress and effectiveness of clinical services provided on an ongoing basis and documents in accordance with all applicable requirements, reviewing and updating treatment plans to address new and changing areas of need. Completes and maintains all clinical documentation and paperwork in appropriate systems contemporaneously, on a timely basis and in accordance with all relevant laws, rules and/or regulations and established processes, including but not limited to written plans, treatment, therapy or session notes, assessments and data collection results. Regularly monitors all electronic communication methods including electronic health record (EHR), email, chat, etc. to provide timely responses, including for requested edits and resubmission of clinical documentation and/or to coordinate scheduling, clinical and billing-related needs or inquiries with appropriate internal or external parties. Regularly engages with the clinic mental health team, attending check-ins, meetings and actively participating in recurring clinical supervisions to maintain awareness of and/or provide insights regarding assigned caseload and to escalate concerns or questions. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, including clinic support staff, external providers and/or other outside agencies or entities, as needed regarding persons supported, responding to inquiries regarding assigned caseload, answering questions, addressing issues, providing information and/or facilitating coordination of services, scheduling, documentation or other needs. Participates in supervision of clinical student interns, which may include observing interns during therapy sessions, providing developmental feedback, compiling session notes, preparing and submitting billing documentation following sessions. Complies with all Federal, State, Local and other relevant regulatory agency requirements, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and ensures cooperation with appropriate entities in any inspection, inquiry or investigation. Experienced Mental Health Clinicians with appropriate credentials may be assigned to assist with ongoing clinical trainings, conducting weekly group or breakout supervisions and/or training and mentoring less experienced clinicians or newly hired staff. Perform all other duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.) Current license and registration issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Psychologist; or A student, intern or resident in psychology, pursuing a course of study leading to a doctoral degree in psychology in an institution approved by NYSED or current Limited Permit issued by NYSED (or eligibility for Limited Permit consistent with NYSED requirements) for which appropriate documentation authorizing practice at assigned YAI location(s) must be approved by NYSED prior to start date; or Master's degree in Psychology or its equivalent and satisfactory proof of qualifying, continuous employment commencing on or before June 24, 2022 in a program or service operated, regulated, funded or approved by Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) or another human services agency consistent with the "grandparenting" provision defined in Part Y of Chapter 57 of the Laws of 2018 as described i
