• Job Description:
• Performs installation maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems.
• Installs maintains and repairs satellite systems.
• Maintains telecommunications equipment and installs, rearranges and removes equipment and associated wiring.
• Interprets service orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Tests, locates, and repairs equipment problems associated with trouble calls, and performs routine maintenance.
• Verifies work order information and receipt of all necessary equipment and information.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
• CERTIFICATIONS:
• Must meet the certification requirement on the SPIN-C or individual task order.
• 8+ years of related telecommunications experience.
• GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
• SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
• Intermediate experience working with DSCS or Commercial Satellite Terminals as specified in the task order to include:
• X, C, KA, Ku-band, Tri-band Satellite Terminals
• FDMA, TDMA, IP Type satellite modems
• Clearance: Secret

• The likely hourly rate for this position is between $32.94 - $44.56. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
• Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
