The Inbound & Inventory Control Supervisor plays a critical role in keeping our Parts Distribution Center running at peak performance. As a Warehouse Supervisor, You Will: As the Inbound & Inventory Control Supervisor, you will lead day‑to‑day inbound and inventory activities while driving efficiency, accuracy, and team engagement. Key responsibilities include: Ensure Inventory Accuracy Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and system integrity Lead and support cycle counts, audits, and root‑cause analysis to prevent discrepancies Partner with planning and operations teams to resolve inventory issues quickly and effectively Optimize Inbound Operations Oversee receiving, put‑away, and inventory flow to ensure timely and accurate processing of parts Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase throughput and accuracy Monitor performance metrics and adjust workflows to meet volume and service level demands Lead and Develop the Team Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and promote accountability across the team Foster a positive, team‑oriented environment focused on continuous improvement Improve Warehouse Efficiency Drive standard work, best practices, and lean warehouse principles Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve space utilization, material flow, and labor efficiency Use data and KPIs to identify trends and recommend actionable improvements Maintain Safety Compliance and Standards Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing policies, conducting inspections, and leading safety initiatives Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards Address safety concerns proactively and promote safe work behaviors at all times Measuring Your Momentum: First 90 Days - Getting Up to Speed Develop a strong understanding of warehouse operations, labor utilization, team structure, and end‑to‑end workflows while identifying key bottlenecks. Stabilize inventory control by improving cycle counts, addressing 2-3 root causes of variance, and improving monthly variance trends. Support outbound operations by assisting with morning batching and leading effective shift start meetings to align priorities. Evaluate and strengthen team performance through clearer workflows, accountability, and consistent execution. Establish KPI visibility and a regular reporting rhythm, including weekly receiving rate reviews and trend discussions with leadership. Improve overall operational efficiency, accuracy, and performance through data‑driven continuous improvement. Year 1 - Victory Lap Ensure consistent cycle count completion through staff training and weekly variance reviews, targeting 95-98% accuracy and a 20-40% reduction in adjustment volume. Improve receiving productivity by strengthening team performance and achieving a 25 LPH receiving rate for processors. Enforce disciplined put‑away, returns, and denials processes to improve inventory integrity and workflow efficiency. Ready to Join the Team? You Should Have: 5+ years' experience in warehouse or distribution center operations, including inventory control, receiving, put‑away, and outbound processes. Experienced in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Royal 4 a plus. Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data analysis, reporting, and advanced formulas) and experience with Microsoft Access or similar database too
