Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs.
• Implementing moving and handling techniques to ensure client safety.
• Managing DFG referrals and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conducting complex safety assessments.
• Reducing waiting lists and improving service throughput.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in children's services.
• Strong knowledge of moving and handling techniques, DFGs, and safety assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
