Procurement Engineer/ Executive

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Supplier Management
• Identify, source, evaluate and qualify suppliers for parts (off-the-shelf, fabricated, mechanical and electrical/ electronic) and services
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans
• Place and manage purchase orders
• Maintain accurate and timely procurement data in ERP system
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal policies and controls
• Strategic Supply Chain Management
• Drive supply chain initiatives, such as cost reduction, multi-sourcing, and inventory planning
• Continually analyze market trends and supply risks; develop mitigation strategies accordingly

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/ Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Materials)
• 2+ years of relevant experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within semiconductor equipment, precision manufacturing or high-tech industries
• Ability to interpret specifications and technical drawings (preferred)
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
