About the role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINMENT (FM&S) PRODUCT LINE COORDINATOR of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Selective Placement Factor (SPF): This position has an SPF which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER including: 1) Providing supervisory oversight of the Facilities Management and Sustainment product line; 2) Monitoring project and program execution and maintain established schedules and goals; 3) Reviewing and reporting on performance metrics on a recurring basis to ensure the quality products and services are delivered; 4) Analyzing metrics and providing analytical comments to assess performance and reasons for not meeting metric goals; 5) Implementing policies and directives issued by the NAVFAC Echelon II Public Works (PW) Directorate and Product Line Leaders, the Echelon III Directorate and Product Line Managers, or other appropriate authorities applicable to the conduct of NAVFAC business for which the Product Line has assigned responsibility; 6) Driving the implementation of FM&S BMS processes , Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program (ICAP), Condition-Based Maintenance Management (CBMM), the proper usage of MAXIMO and other product line initiatives; 7) Planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling operations in PW5. Determine and make work assignments and establish priorities and deadlines.
