Job Description THE JOB: The Fine Dining Cook I is responsible for preparing and executing sophisticated dishes in our High Limits Lounge. This position requires a strong foundation in culinary techniques, with an emphasis on refined presentation, flavor balance, and consistency. The Cook II works closely with the culinary team to deliver a premium dining experience tailored to our guests, ensuring all food meets the highest standards of quality and timing. THE STARTING RATE: $19.26 an hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Prepares meals and other food items according to assignment by the Specialty Sous Chef or Restaurant Chef at assigned Salad/Pantry, Appetizer, or Add-On fine dining stations in accordance with fine dining standards and guest requests. Works in an ala carte setting with the ability to monitor and control ticket flow and continuity of service. Monitors customer flow and estimates daily food requirements and supplies, and requisitions items needed on a daily basis through the Specialty Sous Chef. Uses recipes and a variety of kitchen equipment to sauté, bake, boil, blanch, braise, fry, sear, and steam food to prepare and reheat soups, salads, sauces, dressings, and other food items. Plate meals or other food items in accordance with plate presentation specifications. Informs supervisor of any irregularities occurring within the food preparation operation. Provides excellent and cooperative service to dining room staff and guests. Maintains clean and sanitary work areas throughout the meal period or working shift.
