Contract dates: August 31, 2026 - January 5, 2027 Course start and end dates: August 31, 2026 - December 4, 2026 Course schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:35am - 9:55am Location : TBA Salary (current rate for 3-credit course teaching) : $11,479.00 Salary (rate for 3-credit course teaching as of September 1st, 2026) : $11,824.00 Posting period: June 26, 2026 - July 13, 2026 Application deadline: July 13, 2026, 11:59pm Position Summary: A Course Lecturer assignment includes all or part of the following teaching activities: a) preparation of the Course and Course plan; b) delivery of the Course; c) evaluation of students; d) submitting to the University a report on student attendance and student grades; e) supervision of Teaching Assistants or any other teaching support staff; f) upon request, review of their students' grades; g) meeting with students, being available to answer questions and give advice concerning Course content and requirements; Employees shall perform their duties in compliance with the Pedagogical Regulation and as specified in the administrative directives of the Hiring Unit. An Employee shall use appropriate pedagogical methods and material. Teaching Qualification Requirements: M.A. in German. Native or near native fluency in German required.
