Bearehill Care Home is a beautiful Georgian mansion in the charming town of Brechin, surrounded by tranquil gardens and scenic wildlife. The home provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 49 residents. With its sunny conservatory, sensory garden, freshly prepared meals and warm, homely atmosphere, it is a place where residents are supported to live well and feel truly valued. Domestic Assistant Contract £12.71 per hour Contracted to 24 hours per week or 22.5 hours per week weekend cover Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life. You will be responsible for cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
