ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU. This position is primarily responsible for the management of processes related to the academic calendar, serving as the office's primary technology expert, systems project management, and for providing leadership for the main location of the Office of the Registrar. Basic Responsibilities A. Operations: Implement and manage processes and communications related to the academic calendar, including all beginning- and end-of-term processes and the interpretation of policies related to the calendar and processes. B. Technology: Serve as the primary technology expert within the office, for areas including Workday and Banner, Degree Works maintenance, training, and security; and serve as liaison with the Information Technology area. C. Project Management: Provide systems analysis and design for academic issues related to technology; implement new processes as new technologies become available. D. Provide leadership for the main location of the Office of the Registrar. Essential Duties Other duties may be assigned. Operations: Implement and manage processes and communications related to the academic calendar, including all beginning- and end-of-term processes and the interpretation of policies related to the calendar and processes. 1. Using the academic calendar, develop and implement an operations schedule for processes that will be run at the correct times in the semester. 2. Communicate with the Registrar and other campus personnel regarding time lines and dates for grading, registration, data transfer with the National Student Clearinghouse, and all other term operations. B. Technology: Serve as the primary technology expert within the office, for areas including Workday and Banner, Degree Works maintenance, training, and security; and serve as liaison with the Information Technology area. 1. Provide support and training on a variety of technology systems for the academic division, including Workday, Banner, reporting tools, Degree Works, imaging tools, and other tools as needed 2. Serve as a resource for on-campus constituents regarding reports and data gathering. 3. Serve as the primary liaison with the Information Technology area for ongoing support, maintenance and projects. C. Project management: Provide systems analysis and design for academic issues related to technology; implement new processes as new technologies become available. 1. Implement projects related to technology and processes for the academic division. 2. Provide systems analysis and design for academic issues related to technology. 3. Stay informed regarding new features in both new and existing technologies related to work in the academic division. D. Provide leadership for the main location of the Office of the Registrar. 1. Manage the day to day operations including transcript and certification of enrollment fulfillment, student records management, front desk customer service, etc. 2. Provide oversight for office staff members. 3. Provide direct supervision of student employees.
