Class 1 Driver

About the role

You'll be responsible for transporting chilled food products (including cheese, juice, and yoghurts) using refrigerated and multi-temperature trailers. Day-to-day includes: RDC deliveries and collections Drop-and-swap operations Occasional self-tipping Early morning and flexible start patterns Shift Pattern & Pay 5 ON / 3 OFF rota (Days & Nights available) 💷 £42,205.36 basic salary Shift Premiums: Start between 12:00 - 19:59 : +£10 per shift Start between 20:00 - 03:59 : +£15 per shift Overtime Rates: Monday-Friday: £17.24/hr Saturday: £20.49/hr Sunday: £23.30/hr Additional Earnings: Driver duty premium (11+ hour shifts) Performance bonus Night out allowance: £25 per night Shift allowances (where applicable) ⚠️ Please note: role involves planned and occasional unplanned night outs.

Requirements

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Current CPC & Digital Tacho Card
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours & regulations
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
