Control Systems Engineer (Mid-Level)

Requirements

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field required
• 5-10 years of experience in control systems and automation within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in regulated or cGMP environments preferred
• Strong PLC and industrial automation experience required
• Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with PLCs and SCADA systems
• Knowledge of HMIs, VFDs, servos, and industrial electrical systems
• Experience with industrial networking and troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

This role provides hands-on support for process control systems, automation projects, and site operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. The position supports PLC-based systems, SCADA platforms, HMIs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial electrical systems while ensuring compliance with cGMP and applicable regulatory requirements. This role works independently on assigned tasks and collaborates with Engineering, Operations, IT, Quality, and external vendors.
