Our mission We're making Africa the first cashless continent. In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason-the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Our goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent and that's where you come in... How you'll help us achieve it We are hiring a Recruiter in Abidjan. In this role, you will play a key role in building strong, diverse teams by owning end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple functions. You will partner closely with hiring managers and People Partners to understand hiring needs, deliver an excellent candidate experience, and ensure that hiring decisions align with Wave's values, standards, and long-term goals. In this role, you'll; Own the full-cycle recruitment for roles across departments, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing. Act as a dedicated sourcer: build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines through direct outreach, creative sourcing strategies, and networking. Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand team needs and design tailored recruiting strategies. Ensure our ATS (Greenhouse) is up to date, accurate, and a reliable source of recruiting insights. Track, analyze, and share recruiting metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Take initiative to identify bottlenecks and implement creative improvements to the recruitment process. Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring candidates experience Wave's values throughout their journey and upholding a high bar for talent. Key details Location: You'll work from our office in Abidjan. Work authorization is required in Côte d'Ivoire. This is a permanent position. Our salaries are competitive and calculated using a transparent formula.
