Requirements
- WHO ARE YOU:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Media Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems/Systems Management
- Strong interest in media, broadcasting, and OTT platforms, particularly within Astro's content ecosystem (TV, On Demand, and digital platforms)
- Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS), metadata tagging, and content ingestion workflows is an advantage
- Keen eye for detail, especially in content categorisation, scheduling accuracy, and quality control
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to write clear, concise content descriptions is a plus
- Comfortable working with large volumes of content data, including titles, synopses, and media assets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with digital tools or basic technical troubleshooting is an added advantage
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced broadcast environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn within a dynamic media and entertainment setting
- Passion for local and international content (e.g. drama, sports, variety shows) and awareness of audience trends is a plus
