ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB and other modules
• Build and enhance custom applications, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow platform capabilities
• Configure and develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer
• Implement and maintain integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server)
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and new feature adoption
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align solutions with platform standards and best practices
• Assist in implementing automation solutions and improving operational efficiency
• Contribute to AI/automation use cases (e.g., Virtual Agent, Flow Designer, AI-powered workflows)
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer for developed solutions
• Provide ongoing support, incident fixes, and root cause analysis for platform issues
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and development best practices
• Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
