We are looking for a detail-oriented R&D Experimental Technician to join our Research & Development team. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical and operational support for experimental activities, ensuring high-quality data generation, accurate execution of procedures, and effective support for scientific and engineering teams. You will work on the setup, execution, and monitoring of laboratory and pilot-scale experiments, as well as the collection, verification, and interpretation of technical data. Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply mathematical, statistical, and computational models to address complex business and technical problems.
  • Design, implement, and validate algorithms, simulations, and data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support innovation initiatives and R&D programs.
  • Translate research findings into practical recommendations and scalable solutions.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Computational Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong understanding of mathematical modelling, statistical analysis, and computational methods.
  • Experience applying analytical techniques to real-world problems.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, Julia, or similar.
  • Experience working with data analysis, machine learning, optimization, simulation, or predictive modelling.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments in line with defined procedures and experimental plans.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain experimental equipment, instruments, and systems.
  • Collect, record, and verify experimental data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide technical support by responding to queries and assisting with data gathering and issue resolution.
  • Check and validate data from multiple sources, identifying inconsistencies or anomalies.
  • Support troubleshooting of equipment, processes, and experimental setups.
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and technical teams to support ongoing R&D projects.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of experimental work, results, and observations.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Work within established procedures while handling a variety of routine and moderately complex tasks.
