Food & Beverage Attendants (Couples Welcome)

Responsibilities

• We are looking for standout Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team. You may work across a range of our food and beverage outlets, including the Altitude Restaurant, Bar Lounge and Visitor Centre Cafe, delivering exceptional service and a genuine, welcoming experience every time.
• You'll connect with guests on a personal level, offering thoughtful recommendations and anticipating their needs with a positive, can‑do attitude. Whether it's a relaxed drink by the fire or a memorable dining experience, you'll play a key role in bringing our hospitality to life.
• On a daily basis, you will:
• Deliver friendly and efficient table service across our food and beverage outlets
• Take orders and serve food and beverages with accuracy and attention to detail
• Process transactions and maintain cashiering responsibilities with care
• Set up and reset restaurant, bar and function spaces to a high standard
• Assist with conference and function service as required
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience

Requirements

• Previous food and beverage experience, with a passion for showcasing local Tasmanian produce
• Strong bar skills, including cocktail preparation and mixology
• Barista experience, with the ability to manage high‑volume service periods
• A positive, energetic attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced team environment
• A genuine interest in beverages, including wine, beer and spirits
• A natural ability to connect with guests and deliver memorable service
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• A completed Food Safety/Food Handling certificate
• A valid Australian driver's licence
• Flexibility to work across a 7‑day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
