Location Scottdale, United States of America Quality Engineer We, Business Unit (BU) Specialized, belong to the Tube Division within Alleima Group and are a world-leading producer and supplier of specialized tubular products for key growth markets such as Aerospace, Medical, and Hydrogen. Our products are corrosion-resistant alloys based on stainless steel, nickel, titanium... We are now looking for a Quality Engineer for our very promising Alleima Precision Tube site, based in Scottdale, PA, USA. We are a plant specializing in producing high-precision stainless-steel and nickel-alloy tube products for various highly demanding industries, including aerospace, transportation, nuclear, and petrochemical. Your Role A Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards. They work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to identify issues, implement improvements, and maintain compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements. What we expect from you is: Quality Planning & Standards Develop and implement quality control processes and internal operational standards Support new product development with quality planning (e.g., FMEA, control plans) Review and approve technical documentation, specifications, and procedures Process Monitoring & Assurance Monitor production and engineering processes to ensure product quality Conduct inspections and testing to verify compliance with requirements Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and external regulations Problem Solving & Corrective Actions Perform root cause analysis on defects and nonconformities Implement and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Investigating customer complaints and quality issues Audits & Compliance Conduct internal and external audits Ensure compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 9001/AS9100, NQA-1, ASME IX and other industry-specific regulations) Maintain documentation required for audits and certifications Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze quality data and performance metrics Generate reports on defects, trends, and improvement opportunities Use statistical tools and KPIs to monitor and improve processes Continuous Improvement Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives Identify opportunities to enhance product quality and process efficiency Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and operations teams Communicate quality issues and drive resolution across departments Support training and awareness on quality standards and best practices About you If you are passionate about the manufacturing industry and have an innovative mindset, we are made to work together!
