What you'll achieve As the LIMS Implementation Specialist , you will work as part of the LIMS deployment team of people with the responsibility to help clients to implement and support new Dedalus Laboratory Information Management systems effectively and efficiently. You will work closely with the Project Managers to help clients to follow a standard deployment methodology with specific deliverables working within very tight timescales. You will support the client in the setup and configuration of all systems, supporting knowledge transfer and issue management whilst assisting the client in validation testing and business change activities to help them to get the best out of each of our solution offerings and making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector. You will: Engage in all stages of the deployment project and ensure the client and the deployment project teams are kept best informed, are fully trained and equipped to implement our solution offerings by supporting appropriate solution workshops and training sessions. Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to our clients and deployment project teams when product questions, issues, or changes are raised/escalated. Review high-level, functional, or detailed designs for upcoming changes to the product. Write / update relevant knowledge materials to ensure peers have up-to-date knowledge on the solution for all queries, issues, changes raised. Configuring, validating, and supporting all environments used for demonstrations and training / workshops. Conduct and support the configuration and validation of the customers deployment/training environments to be used for training, testing and go live activities. Assist our clients and deployment project teams in their setup and configuration of local deployment environments by imparting knowledge and empowering them to lead by example. Involvement in multiple, complex deployments covering a typical project life cycle from early engagement through to go-live and post go-live activities. Here's what you'll need to succeed: Essential Requirements Extensive background in at least one Pathology discipline (Blood Transfusion, Microbiology and Blood Sciences) LIMS systems implementation/deployment experience. Familiar with the setup and configuration of healthcare systems and able of effective knowledge transfer and training to high standards. Works on multiple, complex tasks and projects to conclusion, with an understanding and application of a broad knowledge of common principles, good practices, and procedures in specialised areas. Adapts information to audience; explains difficult issues clearly, establishes consensus, attains agreement. Acts as a liaison between clients and Dedalus provides insight and advice to clients concerning the scope. of the solution offerings and high-level benefits to be achieved. Interprets the client's needs, assessing the full requirements whilst identifying good practices and any opportunities to realize real benefits. Effective communication skills collaborating with people at all levels with the ability to manage expectations effectively.
