For more information about Draper, visit www.draper.com . Job Description Summary: The Property Specialist (on-site) serves as an integral member of the Supply Chain function. Reporting to the Manager of Government Property, this role is involved in creating property disposition schedules, government property reports, annual inventory, and analysis and evaluation of trends related to government property acquisition, inventory and disposition. This position is heavily focused on inventory tracking, administration and maintenance of the property database. In this role, you will ensure our programs remain fully compliant with federal contracting regulations and internal procedures across the entire asset lifecycle. Responsibilities include frequent interface with internal and external customers to ensure compliance with contracts, government regulations, company directives/procedures and sound business practices. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Accurately maintain government and company owned property records regarding acquisition, receiving, identification, movement, storage, inventories, consumption, utilization, maintenance, subcontractor control, disposition and closeout in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, contractual requirements and sound business judgment. Prepare and submit accurate property reports to leadership. Create property disposition schedules utilizing government applications, monitor and manage active disposition schedules and provide clear direction on disposition instructions. Using information systems to build and manage detailed spreadsheets and key performance metrics to support timely property disposition. Verifies and ensures data provided to customers and other stakeholders are complete and accurate, utilizing various systems, tools, and Microsoft Excel. Leads the annual inventory campaign and assists with property close-out tasks. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders in property management and tracking. Interfaces with the Program Offices and Procurement to resolve outstanding actions related to incoming property. Proactively establish priorities, executing responsibilities with minimal supervision, and meeting deadlines in a high-pressured environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as it pertains to Government Property preferred. Advanced skill level in Excel (including proficiency with pivot tables and v-lookup functions). Experience with the control and accountability of property in a government or commercial environment. Strong ability to learn computer applications, query tools within multiple software applications. High level of attention to detail and ability to think critically and independently. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Current NPMA certification of at least the CPPS level, preferred. Able to lift up to 50lbs. Work on-site, with ability to perform required travel as needed. Education Bachelors degree in business or related required.
