About the role

Your resume must support all of the following requirements to be considered for the position. Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (or international equivalent) in an appropriate social science or related discipline that is relevant to the DSCU mission. 2. Fifteen (15) years of experience with the practice, training, or study of security cooperation. Experience in government, military, private sector, or academia shall be of sufficient depth or breadth as to establish professional expertise in leadership, management, planning, and execution tasks. Of the fifteen (15) years of security cooperation experience, at least five (5) years of direct experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS), such as advising or policymaking roles, managing FMS projects, and/or executing FMS cases. 3. Substantial intellectual contribution to practice in areas of expertise through developing or revising policy, doctrine, analytic, or institutional materials, publications in peer-review publications, or invited presentations to professional, public, or academic audiences. *Note: Failure to provide transcripts will result in you being rated ineligible for this position. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
