Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Operates mobile radiologic equipment in operating room, emergency room, or at patient's bedside.
- Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.

- Prepares images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
- Assist in training students and/or new staff.
- Responds to needs and is knowledgeable of appropriate care for school-aged through gerontological patients.
- Measures and mixes barium and contrast media.
- Adheres to staffing and scheduling practices.
- Seeks opportunities to improve knowledge base by attending departmental meetings, in services and other educational activities. Assists radiologist in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.

Experience Qualifications 2 years Two years' experience in hospital/clinic. Preferred Licenses and Certifications Registered Technologist - ARRT Required Licensed Radiology Technologist (LRT) - KSBHA Kansas License required within 60 days of hire. Basic Life Support - BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
