The Student Fees and Funding team manages a broad portfolio of financial support for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants and students, including scholarships, bursaries, loan programmes, international funding schemes and central financial assistance. About the Role This 10-month maternity cover offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the University's strategic priorities: widening access to graduate education by attracting and supporting outstanding students from underrepresented backgrounds. You will lead the delivery and development of graduate access scholarships through the Academic Futures programme, overseeing planned expansion and helping shape future scholarship initiatives. You will also manage a team of five delivering key graduate and undergraduate scholarship schemes, including Commonwealth Scholarships and the Reach Oxford Scholarship, while supporting the development of new scholarship opportunities through the University's matched endowment scheme. Working closely with colleagues across colleges, departments and divisions, as well as donors, government bodies and other higher education institutions, you will play a key role in delivering meaningful outcomes for students and supporting the University's long-term strategic ambitions. About You We are looking for someone who: Is proactive, collaborative and skilled at building strong working relationships. Can manage complex operations, multiple priorities and detailed regulatory information. Has excellent numeracy skills and experience managing budgets and financial reporting. Is an effective communicator, able to produce reports, influence stakeholders and present to senior committees. Has strong interpersonal skills, with experience working confidently with senior colleagues and external partners while handling confidential information. Has experience designing and improving administrative processes using technology and data. Has experience leading, developing and supporting teams through change.
