Responsibilities

  • Lay out pre-hung door component supplies and materials on carts or floor.
  • Stock plates for component set-up.

  • Education Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience Qualifications
  • 4-6 years Prior carpentry experience required.
  • 4-6 years Door assembly experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
  • Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.
  • Excellent teamwork, customer relationships, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of OSHA requirements.
  • Licenses and Certifications
  • Forklift Certification Must be able to safely operate forklift and pass certification upon hire.

A Brief Overview The Door Assembly Lead directs the work of Door Assemblers who assemble pre-hung door components. This position is a working role but is also responsible for leading a team who oversees the assembly process in an efficient manner. This person is responsible for quality control and other support functions as assigned. Pay Rate : $20.00 per hour
