Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
• Take off quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and payment recommendations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
• Review contracts, tender documents, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Main Contractors, Consultants, and Suppliers.
• Track project progress and maintain proper cost records.
• Assist in procurement and material cost analysis.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in Interior Fit-Out, Ceiling, Partition, Renovation, or A&A works is preferred.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices is an advantage.
