About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced, professional Key Account Manager with strong sales experience and a passion for building partnerships with regional and national customers and distribution partners. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts through personal visits and follow-up on a regular basis, with an eye toward account retention and growth.
- Secure account penetration and loyalty, by adding overall value to customer accounts; improving current programs, and introducing new innovations and reporting.
- Drive engagement with customers at all levels to ensure needs are met, apprise customers of mutual performance, new products, programs and market trends through periodic and formal Business Reviews.
- Develop and qualify leads within respective geography to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and social selling techniques.
- Present and create multi-product solution opportunities through presentations, training, and demonstrations.
- Provide customer training and support as needed across the customer's entire enterprise.
- Accurately complete administrative duties; budgeting, forecasting and expenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2-5 years of B2B sales experience
- Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking, financial acumen, negotiation, conflict resolution and strong analytical skills.
- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel, including some overnights - must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
